From Manners to Table Forms

This curatorial exercise reflects on the connection between table manners and the shape of cutlery.  As a result of an investigation into cutlery and table codes, a selection of pieces was made to illustrate the evolution of the knife, spoon and fork in modern times, and their relationship with the table, the diners and the civilizing processes
